Looking for some kindergarten Easter ideas? Easter is a time where everyone celebrates spring and the renewal of life. Children get to go on an Easter egg hunt, eat candy, and more! Kindergarteners are no exception. In this blog post, we share kindergarten easter ideas that will help you celebrate Easter with your class in a creative way!
Kindergarten Easter Egg Hunt
One way to celebrate Easter in kindergarten is by having an Easter egg hunt on the playground. You can hide eggs all around the school and have children go out and find them! This is a fun way for children to get some exercise while also celebrating Easter.
Kindergarten Easter Craft Bag
If students aren’t able to bring their own baskets, you can make craft bags for students to use. This doubles as a fun activity before the egg hunt!
Egg Decorating
Another great kindergarten easter idea is to decorate eggs together as a class. You can use different colors, stickers, and more to make the eggs look festive. This is a great activity for children to do together and they will love showing off their creations! If you don’t want to pull out actual eggs, you can use this free paper version that’s exclusive to my email subscribers. Check it out here.
Bouncey Egg Experiment
What about a bouncy egg experiment? If you soak an egg in white vinegar, the shell will dissolve. I would do this a couple of days before because it takes 24-48 hours to dissolve the shell. Your egg will turn translucent and bounce! You can use a beaker or glass. Even a clear plastic cup will work.
Kindergarten Easter
Finally, Easter is a time where many people enjoy candy. Why not have a classroom party where everyone gets to eat some delicious treats? You can set up a table with different kinds of candy and let the children indulge! If you plan to share candy, I’d do this right before it’s time to go home. LOL. That way, you aren’t dealing with the sugary aftermath. This is a great way to end your Easter celebration in kindergarten.
