Kindergarten Dental Health
If you are looking for ideas and activities to help teach Kindergarten dental health then I’ve got you covered. Nothing pairs better with learning in Kindergarten than a fun read-aloud. I have listed some of my favorite books and activities for Kindergarten Dental health along with some ideas on how to have fun teaching it.
- Bear’s Loose Tooth
Bear’s Loose Tooth is written by Karma Wilson and is a fun story about Bear who loses a tooth. Since kindergarten kiddos start losing their teeth, it is a fun way to make it not so scary for them.
- White Board Cavities
A fun simple way to get students to understand how important it is to clean their teeth. Simply have them draw a smile with some teeth and black dots for dirt and cavities. The students can then have tissue and try to clean the teeth without erasing them.
- Free Colgate Smile Kits
You can sign up below to get your free Colgate smiles kits if you are a Kindergarten or First-grade teacher. These have come with a toothbrush and toothpaste for your students.
