It’s time for kindergarten end of year gifts. One of the best parts about Kindergarten is that it’s the last year before Kindergarteners get to move on to first grade. It can be a bittersweet time for both parents and students. The end of the school year is a great time for giving gifts to let them know you are proud of them. Plus, it is something to remember your class. If you’re looking for some ideas, read this blog post! Here are some cheap kindergarten end of year gift ideas (along with some free tags you can get here):
Kindergarten End of Year Gifts
Kindergarten Keepsake Box
You can get school supply plastic boxes for cheap after back-to-school time. I’ve seen them for around .25 in October. If you buy early you can get some boxes to personalize with a Cricut and fill with goodies for the end of the year. A picture of them in Kindergarten and a letter to themselves like a time capsule are great items to create this keepsake. Also, any other small goodies you want to include such as…
Bubble Wand
Since summer is on the way, a fun bubble wand with a clever tag is always a big hit.

Play-Doh
This play-doh is about .50 cents each at Wal-Mart so it’s a great way to give your student’s something small but fun for the end of the year. Plus, it won’t break the bank.

Personalized Book
Scholastic has great 1$ book options and you can write a sweet personalized note inside the front cover of the book. I love this one because it is personal and they will always have a note from you.
Picture Tiles
If you are the crafty type then you may like this one. You will need square tiles from the hardware store. These can be painted and kept to remember their time in kindergarten. You can Modge Podge their picture and Kindergarten graduation date. They are also priced really well as you can get some basic square tiles for just a few cents.
Whatever you choose to give, make sure it is special and something they will cherish. Kindergarteners are so excited about their next steps in education. They can’t wait to be the “big kids” on campus. However, they will always remember their time in Kindergarten!
I can’t tell you how many times students see me around and tell me how much they miss my class and how much fun they had in my room. I hope these Kindergarten End of Year Gifts gave you some inspiration to end the year with a special and memorable gift and maybe inspired some other ideas.
